Jennifer Singleton

Jennifer Singleton is a speculative fiction writer who resides in Southern Maryland. She recently completed her first novel and is at work on her second. Her storytelling is an ode to the culture and spirituality of her Louisiana roots. She takes the phrase “be the change you wish to see” to heart. Her work focuses on themes, characters, and settings that are underrepresented in speculative fiction, particularly Southern Gothic. Jennifer contributes to several writers’ communities that focus on honing writing craft and providing author support. After communing with her own characters, she enjoys reading urban and paranormal romance. When not working as a public servant, Jennifer teaches English as a Second Language and proudly serves on the board of her sorority’s foundation that awards scholarships to deserving high school seniors.
