DEANNA YVETTE

DeAnna Yvette is a Chicago-based writer. Her stories explore Blackness, queerness, place, and belonging, often with a speculative twist. As someone drawn to magical realism and historical fiction, her work often centers haunting, conjuring, and unsettled histories. DeAnna received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. She is currently working on a short story collection and a novel.
