CELESTE SCOTT

Celeste Scott lives in Brooklyn. She writes fiction that explores interpersonal dynamics, evangelicalism, desire, and adolescence. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Hunter College and B.A. in Cinema and Media Arts from Biola University. She co-wrote the short film Hot Seat (2024), which received the New York Short Jury Award, Special Mention at NewFest 2024. In 2023, she was a resident at St. Nell’s Humor Writing Residency. In addition to writing Celeste enjoys posting on her food finsta and asking people what their astrological signs are.
